Shaina Elizabeth Riddle, from Ludowici, Georgia. She is a graduate of Mary Baldwin University with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and another in theatre. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Business Administration program, also at Mary Baldwin. She hopes to get her PhD in sociology and compare economic and political systems as well as family and gender norms across nations.
She is a Proud Alumna of Mary Baldwin College. She has a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice, two Master’s Degrees (Public Administration and Criminal Justice), and a Bachelor’s in Sociology/Criminal Justice. In her 35 years of experience in the Criminal Justice field, Dr. Insco has been an advocate and consultant to reduce mass incarceration and recidivism to public jurisdictions, private entities, and nonprofit organizations. Jessie is a student at Mary Baldwin University, class of 2022, studying Psychology and Sociology. Since watching a documentary in early middle school examining the differences between criminal justice systems around the world at both the structural and interpersonal levels, she has held a particular interest in criminal justice reform. She is interested in change at a structural level, but even more so in combating the cultural stigma surrounding justice-involved individuals and other marginalized populations. She has worked with young children since 2016 in both formal and informal capacities, which she greatly enjoys.
Skye is a Sociology and Political Science major at Mary Baldwin University. In her work with the institute, she hopes to help enact meaningful social change within the criminal justice and educational systems.
Janet works as a researcher for the Institute. My background involves 20+ years in architecture, civil, and structural engineering drafting. She retired from it and decided to go to Mary Baldwin University and graduated in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. Before that she attended Blue Ridge Community College and graduated in May 2012 with an Associate’s Degree. More
